Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you have a disability. No membership is required.
The Transportation Benefit Program offers older adults the convenience of private car rides for their mobility needs. Riders can easily schedule curb-to-curb transportation with a minimum of five business days' notice, ensuring timely and reliable service. While there is no reimbursement for mileage, the program accepts donations which are deductible as charitable contributions, providing a means for the community to support this valuable service. Pre-payment options are available, including the convenience of paying with credit card or cash. With the flexibility to book rides at least one week in advance, older adults can confidently rely on the Transportation Benefit Program to meet their transportation needs without stress or uncertainty.
