The Transportation Assistance Program is a community service that offers older adults the opportunity to access free transportation services. Through this program, older adults can schedule rides in advance, typically a few days prior to their desired appointment. Rides are available at no cost to the rider, with the program operating on a donation basis where any amount is greatly appreciated. When booking transportation through this program, appointment times are usually scheduled between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The service offers curb-to-curb transportation, ensuring that older adults can easily reach their destination safely and comfortably.
