The Transportation Benefit Program offers a convenient way for older adults to access transportation services in their community. Through this program, older adults can schedule rides in advance, allowing them to plan their trips ahead of time. The program accepts various forms of payment including credit card and check, providing flexibility for riders to choose their preferred payment method. Transportation is provided through vans, ensuring a comfortable and reliable mode of transportation for older adults. Riders are charged based on the number of miles traveled, offering a transparent pricing structure. With the option to request transportation up to 5 times per week with 2 stops per ride, older adults have the flexibility to attend appointments, run errands, and engage in social activities. One of the standout features of this program is the inclusion of a dedicated driver who will wait for the passenger while they complete their tasks or appointments. This door-to-door transportation service ensures that older adults can travel safely and efficiently to their desired destinations.
