Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are a veteran. No membership is required.
The Veterans Transportation Service (VTS) is a complimentary transportation program designed to assist older adults in accessing necessary transportation services. Riders can schedule shared van rides at no cost, with donations being encouraged to support the program. It is recommended to schedule rides in advance through the Rides In Advance to ensure timely transportation. VTS offers curb-to-curb service, providing a convenient and reliable means of travel for older adults. Additionally, riders are welcome to bring service animals along during their journeys. This program aims to provide older adults with a safe and accessible transportation option to help them maintain their independence and mobility.
