Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.
The Transportation Benefit Program offers a convenient and affordable way for older adults to access transportation services in the Princeton area. Riders can enjoy the flexibility of scheduling individual or out-of-town trips at a suggested donation rate of $7.50 per hour for local rides and $10 per hour for trips outside of Princeton. This program eliminates the stress of driving by providing safe and comfortable van transportation for shared rides.
To utilize this program, older adults are encouraged to schedule their rides in advance, ensuring that their transportation needs are met in a timely manner. The curb-to-curb service offered by the program further enhances the convenience and accessibility of transportation for older adults who may require assistance getting to their destination.
With the option to donate for each trip, older adults can support the continuance and success of this valuable transportation service, designed to meet their mobility needs and enhance their independence.
