Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are 60+ years old.

The Senior Wheels program offers convenient and affordable transportation services for older adults in various locations, including Lawrence, Eudora, Baldwin City, and more. With flat fees for City Rides within the same city limits and County Rides to destinations outside city limits or across Douglas County, this program ensures easy access to essential destinations. To use this service, older adults should schedule their rides a few days in advance and have the flexibility to choose between one-way or round-trip options based on their needs. Payment methods are varied, allowing riders to pay by check, pre-pay, use credit card, or pay in cash, making the process convenient for all participants. Transportation is provided through comfortable vans, offering curb-to-curb service for added convenience. By utilizing the Senior Wheels program, older adults can enjoy reliable and accessible transportation options that cater to their specific needs and support their independence.
