STAR Transit is a transportation program that offers free rides to older adults aged 60 and above from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm. For adults under 60, a small fee based on distance is charged. To utilize this service, riders are required to schedule their trips a few days in advance. Payment for rides can be made via check or in cash. STAR Transit provides shared van rides, ensuring a social and cost-effective mode of transportation. Riders can expect curb-to-curb transportation when using this service, making it convenient for those with mobility concerns. When planning your transportation needs, consider scheduling rides in advance through the Rides In Advance system provided by STAR Transit.
