One of the great benefits of this program is that it is offered free of charge to older adults in need of transportation assistance. To make use of this program, older adults are required to schedule their rides at least a few days in advance, allowing for proper arrangements to be made. This advance scheduling ensures that there is adequate time to match the older adult with a volunteer driver for their journey. It is recommended to schedule transportation at least three business days in advance to secure a spot for the desired travel date and time.
