The Incidental Transportation program offers convenient private car rides to older adults at an hourly rate. Riders can schedule rides at least a few days in advance and have the option to pay with cash or check. There is a 4-hour minimum required for each trip, with pricing set at $21.95 per hour on weekdays and $22.95 per hour on weekends. Additionally, a small fee of $.75 per mile is charged if the caregiver's car is used during transportation. One of the program's notable features is that it provides door-to-door transportation, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience for the riders. The program also allows riders to bring along packages or bags and offers an attentive driver who will wait for them during errands or appointments.
