Dial a Ride/Demand Response is a transportation service available for older adults aged 65 and above, individuals with disabilities, and Medicare card holders at a reduced fare of 50 cents. Operating as a paratransit program, Dial a Ride/Demand Response offers convenient van transportation for passengers who need to schedule their rides in advance, typically a few days prior. Payment for the service can be made using cash or check, providing flexibility for riders.
This program ensures reliable curb-to-curb transportation, allowing older adults to travel safely to their desired destinations. Additionally, riders are welcome to bring their service animals along for the journey.
