If you are a senior citizen with a Commonwealth ID card, you can enjoy the benefit of free rides through this program. If you do not have an ID yet, simply reach out to the Raider Regional Transit office at 530-8891 to obtain one. For those not eligible for free rides, the program offers one-way trips at a cost of $1.30 per ride, and payment can be made by either check or cash. Local Bus operates on fixed routes and schedules, ensuring reliable transportation for older adults who rely on this service to get around. The program also offers shared rides, promoting a sense of community and camaraderie among riders. Additionally, Local Bus provides curb-to-curb transportation, meaning older adults can be picked up and dropped off directly at their desired locations.
