Transportation Services is a convenient program designed to offer accessible transportation options for older adults. This program utilizes car and van services to ensure that older adults can travel to their destinations comfortably and safely. With a reimbursement of 41.5 cents per mile for general travel, riders can take advantage of round-trip mileage for scheduled appointments.
It's important to note that unscheduled visits may have limitations, potentially being restricted to return mileage only. For cost efficiency, there is a deductible of $3.00 for one-way trips and $6.00 for round trips. To utilize this program, riders are encouraged to schedule their rides in advance, allowing for proper planning and coordination.
Transportation Services offers various payment options, including payment by check, credit card, or cash, providing flexibility for riders. With curb-to-curb transportation services, older adults can rely on this program to assist them in reaching their destinations conveniently. When considering transportation needs, the program suggests arranging rides in advance to ensure a smooth and comfortable travel experience.
