Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you have a disability. No membership is required.
Bus Service is an affordable transportation program designed to assist older adults with getting around the area. The pricing for this service is convenient, with a flat fee for different destinations: within town rides cost $2 each way, traveling within the county costs $6.50 each way, and for destinations outside the county, riders can expect to pay $7.50 each way. To utilize this service, riders must book their rides in advance, typically a few days ahead of time.
Payment options for this program are flexible, allowing riders to pay by check, credit card, or even with cash. The shared van rides provided offer a convenient way for older adults to travel, with the service ensuring curb-to-curb transportation for added comfort and ease.
