The Transportation Service program offers older adults access to convenient and affordable transportation options. Local trips within the county are provided free of charge, while trips outside the county are available for a fee based on the distance traveled. Riders have the flexibility to schedule their rides in advance, with the option for on-demand scheduling as well. This program ensures ease of payment by accepting credit card payments or cash, providing older adults with a variety of payment options. Shared van rides are offered, allowing older adults to travel together, fostering a sense of community and companionship. The program ensures a comfortable and accessible experience by providing curb-to-curb transportation services. Whether older adults need to run errands, attend appointments, or simply explore the area, the Transportation Service program is designed to meet their diverse transportation needs efficiently and comfortably.
