Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.

The Transportation Assistance program offers convenient and cost-free rides for older adults who need to travel within the community. Operating on a curb-to-curb basis, this program ensures that older adults can reach their destinations safely and comfortably. Riders are required to book their trips in advance, allowing for better planning and coordination of transportation services. Rides can be scheduled a few days ahead through the Rides In Advance system, guaranteeing a reliable and timely service for older adults in need of transportation support. This initiative aims to enhance the mobility and independence of older adults by providing them with access to transportation for their daily needs.

Transportation is available to local appointments in the Lisbon area as well as appointments in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City.
