The Subsidized Taxicab Program offers older adults access to private rides with a subsidy rate of $5.00 per ride. Riders are responsible for any fare amount exceeding the subsidy, as well as any desired tips, which cannot be covered by the subsidy. To use this program, older adults need to book their rides a few days in advance and have the option to pre-pay using cash or credit card.
