LaGrange County Area Transit (LCAT) is a transportation program designed to provide older adults, aged 60 and over, with accessible and affordable transportation options within the county. Riders have the convenience of scheduling rides in advance, allowing for proper planning of their travel needs. The program offers shared van rides at a flat fee, with local trips priced at $6.00.
Payments for the transportation services can be made through a suggested donation, check, or in cash, giving riders flexibility in choosing their preferred payment method. LCAT ensures a convenient experience for older adults by offering curb-to-curb transportation, allowing them to be picked up and dropped off at their specific locations.
