Catch-a-Cab is a convenient transportation program available to older adults. Through this program, participants can receive private rides in cars or vans for a flat fee using vouchers or coupons. For just $5, older adults can purchase a $20 book of taxi coupons, with the option to acquire up to 7 books per quarter. Registration is quick and easy, requiring only a brief form and proof of age. The coupons can be used exclusively by subscribers of Catch-a-Cab, and rides must be scheduled in advance, typically a few days ahead. Pre-payment is accepted, and payment can be made in cash. When utilizing Catch-a-Cab, older adults can expect reliable door-to-door transportation services.
