Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are 60+ years old.

The Volunteer Transportation Service is a program that offers private car rides for older adults at affordable, flat-rate prices. If you're heading within your zip code, the fee is $5.00, while trips to different zip codes in Harford/Cecil County are priced at $6.00. For destinations in other parts of Maryland, the fare is to be determined. It is necessary to book your rides a few days ahead of time and payments can be made via check, pre-payment, or in cash. This service ensures convenient transportation by providing curb-to-curb rides, making it easier for older adults to reach their desired destinations. Whether it's a medical appointment, a social visit, or shopping trip, the Volunteer Transportation Service aims to support older adults in maintaining their independence and staying connected to their community by offering reliable and affordable transportation options.
