Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability.
The Transportation Benefit Program offers a wonderful opportunity for older adults in our community to access reliable transportation services. This program operates on a donation basis, with no set fees for participants, making it accessible to all older adults who may benefit from it. Participants are simply encouraged to contribute what they can towards the program.
Riders can schedule shared van rides for their appointments and errands, ensuring they can get to where they need to go safely and conveniently. It is recommended to schedule rides a few days in advance to secure a spot and plan your day effectively. The program provides curb-to-curb transportation, meaning older adults will be assisted from the curb outside their residence to the curb at their destination.
By taking part in this program, older adults can maintain their independence and stay connected with the community without worrying about transportation barriers. It's a fantastic way to support older adults in staying active and engaged in their daily lives.
