Please make sure to contact Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People (VEAP): Transportation Program to confirm details of their transportation services.
Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you have a disability, or you have no other means of transportation.
The Transportation Program offers a valuable service by providing older adults with access to private, door-to-door transportation via car. This program operates on a donation basis, with a suggested amount of $5.00 per ride, but is free of charge for older adults who may be facing financial constraints. Riders are required to schedule their transportation at least a few days in advance to ensure that their needs are accommodated.
This program's focus on convenience and personalized service makes it a reliable option for older adults who require assistance with getting to appointments, running errands, or attending social engagements. By relying on the generosity of donors, the Transportation Program can continue to offer older adults a safe and reliable means of transportation that meets their unique needs.
