Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.

The STAR (Senior Transportation and Rides) program is a valuable service that offers transportation assistance to older adults. This program operates on a donation basis, with a suggested contribution of $5 per round trip. Riders can schedule shared rides using cars, providing curb-to-curb transportation for convenience. It is recommended to book rides at least a few days in advance, with the option to schedule up to two weeks ahead for better planning. Payments for the program can be made either by check or in cash, offering flexibility to the riders. By utilizing the STAR program, older adults can access reliable transportation for various needs, ensuring they can stay connected to their communities and maintain their independence.
