Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you have a disability. No membership is required.

The Transportation Assistance Program offers convenient transportation services for older adults. With this service, older adults can access rides through a car or van for various purposes. Trips to the Senior Center are available for $1.00 round trip, while shopping and errand transportation is offered for $3.00. Particularly, medical transportation is provided free of charge. Riders are encouraged to make donations to support the program. To utilize this program, older adults need to schedule their rides in advance, preferably a few days before the intended date. Payments for the transportation services can be made through checks or in cash. The program also offers the option of Rides In Advance for scheduling transportation. Overall, the Transportation Assistance Program aims to support older adults in meeting their mobility needs for social activities, daily errands, and medical appointments.
